Business Analyst

Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst with 1 year of hands-on experience in understanding business needs, documenting requirements, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of documentation practices, analytical thinking, and understanding of software development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Prepare and maintain BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), and SRD (System Requirement Document).
• Develop and visualize Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) to represent system processes and interactions.
• Create and manage User Stories and ensure traceability of requirements.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Participate in requirement review meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support Agile and Waterfall project execution methodologies as per project needs.
• Assist in preparing test cases, UAT support, and validating solutions against business needs.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong experience in BRD, FRD, and SRD documentation.
• Proficiency in Data Flow Diagram (DFD) creation and analysis.
• Experience with User Stories and understanding of User Journey / User Storage.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or Lucidchart is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
